Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA-specific)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments
- Prepare and file payroll tax forms (941, 940, DE-9, etc.)
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct quarterly and annual payroll reconciliations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire terminations and wage adjustments
- Maintain confidential payroll records and audit trails
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Deep knowledge of CA wage orders and labor laws
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax filings
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
