Join our dynamic finance team at Miami Financial Group as a Payroll Specialist! We're seeking a meticulous professional to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for 500+ employees across South Florida. This is a hybrid role offering 3 days in our downtown Miami office and 2 remote days weekly. You'll play a critical role in maintaining compliance with federal/state regulations while supporting our mission to deliver exceptional employee experiences.

Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies monthly
- Support year-end processes including W-2 distribution and 1099 reporting
- Act as primary liaison for payroll-related employee inquiries
- Implement and optimize payroll workflows using automation tools
- Stay current on FLSA, FICA, and Florida state labor regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent platform expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of FLSA overtime calculations
- Proven track record in payroll audit and reconciliation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
