Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings (federal/state/local)
- Administer 401(k) enrollments and benefits deductions
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trails and reconciliation
- Prepare payroll reports for CFO and HR leadership
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and Illinois labor laws
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and HRIS systems
- Deep knowledge of multi-state tax compliance
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
