Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP/Great Plains systems
- Calculate and garnish wages for deductions, taxes, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports and tax filings (federal/state/local)
- Maintain confidential employee records and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Support year-end processing and audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Deep understanding of federal/state payroll tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
