Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate, verify, and process payroll for [Number] employees on a weekly or bi-weekly basis using ADP Workforce Now.
- Review and reconcile timesheets, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, overtime, and paid time off (PTO).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data and financial records.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax reports and returns to ensure compliance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the HR department to update employee information, including changes in tax status, bank accounts, and personal details.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end payroll audits and reporting.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in payroll processing or a related administrative role.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax codes (FICA, FUTA, SUTA).
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors quickly.
