Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages for tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with financial statements
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Generate payroll reports for management and auditors
- Support year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s) and payroll audits
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefit changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or equivalent payroll software
- Deep understanding of FLSA, IRS, and Texas payroll regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancy resolution
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
