Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify time records and reconcile discrepancies with department managers
- Calculate and process tax withholdings, deductions, and garnishments
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS, and NM state regulations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain confidential payroll records and document retention
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a US-based organization
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of federal/state tax laws and payroll compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
