Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision
- Conduct tax planning consultations to optimize client financial outcomes
- Utilize ProSystem fx and Lacerte software for efficient tax processing
- Maintain organized client documentation and digital record systems
- Research evolving tax regulations and implement compliance updates
- Collaborate with senior associates on complex tax strategies
- Provide responsive client communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation required
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA candidates encouraged)
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Active PTIN and ability to obtain TN state tax license
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in team settings
