Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision
- Conduct thorough tax research and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Advise clients on tax deductions, credits, and optimization strategies
- Review financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with senior associates on complex tax cases and audits
- Maintain accurate client documentation and tax files
- Stay updated on evolving tax legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1+ years of tax preparation experience
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte, or UltraTax)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Valid Florida PTIN and active EFIN
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification highly desirable
