Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and intercompany transactions
- Lead quarterly audits and tax documentation processes
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial initiatives
- Maintain SOX compliance documentation and controls
- Train junior staff on accounting systems and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
