Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring timely payment collection.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax).
