Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and manage accounts receivable aging.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and payroll preparation.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date, organized, and compliant with accounting standards.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- High school diploma or Associate degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
