Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
- Provide timely financial insights to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with remote work tools and cloud-based platforms
