Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the annual budget preparation process and support monthly forecasting activities.
- Data Analysis: Utilize Excel and SQL to extract, clean, and interpret complex financial data sets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Review and optimize existing financial workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial documentation and reporting adhere to internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Support special projects and management inquiries with detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting. Part-time candidates with internship experience will also be considered.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to data accuracy and reconciliation.
- Availability: Ability to commit to 15-25 hours per week with consistent availability during business hours.
