Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit risk assessments and financial analysis for new and existing loan applicants.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to determine credit limits and terms.
- Monitor account status and update credit files to reflect changes in customer financial health.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for the credit committee or lending team.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local banking regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide credit solutions that meet client needs while mitigating risk.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis, financial lending, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and experience with credit scoring software (e.g., FICO, Dun & Bradstreet).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
