Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of credit applications and financial statements to assess borrower risk.
- Prepare and maintain accurate credit files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with internal policies.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Generate and present credit reports and recommendations to the loan committee.
- Collaborate with loan officers to resolve complex credit issues and structure deals.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
