Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee review
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and credit policy changes
- Utilize financial modeling tools for cash flow projections and scenario analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking/lending environment
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and credit risk metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with credit reporting systems (e.g., Moody's, Equifax)
