Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with clear recommendations for lending decisionsMonitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop customized credit solutions for clients
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Present findings to credit committees with concise, data-driven insights
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk assessment methodologies
- Certification (CRCM, CMB) or relevant coursework preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
