Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of borrower applications to assess creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Review and interpret complex financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow reports.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive credit files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and provide recommendations for credit committee approval.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress or changing risk profiles.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure consistent risk assessment standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or financial underwriting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
