Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine borrower risk profiles.
- Analyze collateral values and assess the overall financial health of applicants using established credit scoring models.
- Prepare and maintain detailed credit memos and loan documentation to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams and loan officers to provide insights and recommendations regarding credit approvals and terms.
- Monitor and track the credit status of existing clients to identify early warning signs of default.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a similar financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and financial analysis software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
