Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and local laws to update internal compliance frameworks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and training materials.
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation to governing bodies.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance initiatives align with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Certification as a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, including HIPAA, SOX, and state-specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
