Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of distress
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Utilize advanced financial modeling tools to forecast repayment scenarios
- Present complex credit analyses to senior leadership with clear recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and ratio calculations
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and credit analysis software
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending regulations (FDIC, OCC, state laws)
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or CFA) highly desirable
