Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and expense reports
- Assist with month-end closing and audit preparations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Implement and optimize accounting workflows
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budget forecasting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in tech startup or SaaS environments preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks certification a plus
