Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Process weekly payroll for a small team of employees.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and high organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA preferred.
