Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger: Accurately record daily transactions and maintain financial records with precision.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and manage accounts receivable collections efficiently.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing for a small team of employees.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with local and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting is required.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online (Advanced) and Microsoft Excel.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Integrity: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
