Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank accounts
- Process payroll and prepare monthly financial statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Generate financial reports for client decision-making
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
- Collaborate with clients and team members for financial insights
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional communication and client service orientation
- Experience with small business accounting preferred
