Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing for small to medium-sized business clients.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records for easy retrieval.
- Prepare basic financial statements and support tax preparation efforts during busy seasons.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
