Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process payroll for small to medium-sized business clients.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with tax preparation documents and filing as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid office environment.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction.
