Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process payroll for small to medium-sized businesses.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with tax preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
