Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation for small businesses.
- Organize and digitize financial documents and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Proven experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
