You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing clear financial insights to management. Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, such as P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for a small group of employees using QuickBooks or similar software.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents for audit readiness.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, TaxAct) is a plus.
