Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing adjusting entries.
- Process payroll for multiple employees, ensuring tax compliance and timely distribution.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and general ledger summaries for management review.
- Organize and file financial documents, receipts, and invoices to maintain an audit-ready system.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Xero (Sage or NetSuite is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
- High school diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting or CPA certification is preferred.
