Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Process daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are recorded accurately and paid on time.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure records match financial statements.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger system, categorizing expenses and ensuring proper documentation.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation where required.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Software: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and clients.
Responsibilities
