Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple employees with high attention to detail.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
