You will work closely with our senior accountants to manage day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Process payroll for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and Word.
- Associate degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping (e.g., AAT, AAC).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Must pass a background check.
