Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll for small to mid-sized clients (if applicable).
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in QuickBooks or Xero.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
- Understanding of basic tax preparation principles and GAAP standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable and able to meet deadlines consistently.
