Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple employees with a focus on timeliness and precision.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and audits as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
