Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements with 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Assist with year-end tax preparations and financial audits.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to categorize expenses and track financial transactions.
- Communicate with clients regarding their financial status and outstanding invoices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
