Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Generate monthly financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing for multiple clients.
- Process and categorize invoices and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
