Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions monthly
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements weekly
- Prepare financial statements and balance sheets for client reviews
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and payroll support
- Manage vendor invoicing and expense tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Texas tax requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and formula expertise
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
