Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Accurately record daily financial transactions, ensuring all debits and credits are posted correctly.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow efficiently.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly review bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll for small business clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their account queries and financial statements.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
