Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Utilize QuickBooks for payroll processing and tax form preparation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Support annual audits and maintain organized financial documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines independently in a hybrid work environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, Xero) highly desirable
