Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple clients using QuickBooks and ADP.
- Prepare and send invoices, and track outstanding payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation support as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (Advanced level) or Xero.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial staff.
