Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Perform daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, financial statements, and month-end close packages for review by senior management.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) with high attention to detail and minimal errors.
- Vendor & Client Relations: Handle communication with vendors regarding invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation of payroll records and ensure tax compliance for part-time staff as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., NACPB, QuickBooks ProAdvisor).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial document preparation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
