Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Manage expense tracking and vendor invoicing
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for clients
- Prepare sales tax returns and financial documentation
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit season
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Arizona bookkeeper certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
