Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare financial reports, profit/loss statements, and balance sheets
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Support month-end closing processes and financial audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (2+ years)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven experience with accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting capabilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client accounts
- Knowledge of sales tax reporting and payroll processing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., AIPB) preferred
