Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting
- Manage QuickBooks data entry and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation for clients
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax seasons
- Track and analyze budget variances for 15+ client portfolios
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of sales tax compliance (CA regulations)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
