Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Provide financial insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Washington state tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) is a plus
