Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients with competing deadlines
