Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax and audit teams during reporting cycles
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
